Permanent LED Lighting System
A once-installed, app-controlled LED system along the roofline that handles holiday color, architectural accent, and security lighting year-round.
Homeowners who want permanent, versatile outdoor lighting without seasonal installation and removal can turn to bluEmber's eave lighting system, which is mounted once by in-house crews inside a color-matched aluminum channel along the roofline and controlled through an app from that point forward. The system uses RGBW full-spectrum LEDs with 6 diodes per fixture and 95 lumens each, supports up to 4,112 individually addressable lights per installation, and connects via a 48V low-voltage Wi-Fi controller that provides preset scenes, custom color selection, per-zone scheduling, and music sync. Fixtures are IP-68 waterproof and UL Listed with a lifetime LED warranty, and metal-threaded connectors plus a redundant backup data wire keep the system running if a single component fails. Track profiles — standard flat, canted, fat, Z-flashing, 45-degree, and radius — accommodate any soffit type, drip edge, beam, or curved structure, and 324 channel finishes ensure the hardware is invisible during daylight hours. Most installations are completed in a single day.
Within that one system, homeowners can use the full-color RGBW capability for holiday displays, seasonal themes, gameday colors, or any custom scene, with light spacing options of 6, 10, or 12 inches to tune brightness and visual density. For everyday architectural accent use, frosted and full-frosted lens options eliminate hot spots and produce a smooth, continuous glow along rooflines, gables, and columns rather than the dot-matrix effect common to strip lights; dimming runs from 1% to 100% per zone so the intensity can be adjusted from a soft ambient wash to a brighter curb-appeal look, and warm-to-cool white tones can be saved as scheduled dusk-to-bedtime scenes.
The same installation also functions as a security layer. A soft 3000K warm-white default keeps the full perimeter lit every night, removing the shadow gaps that traditional floodlights leave between fixtures and improving camera footage quality by eliminating glare and dark zones. When a motion event, doorbell press, or manual tap triggers an alert, the system shifts to a 5000K cool-white scene across the entire perimeter in one step, and integration with Ring, Nest, and compatible camera systems is supported through app routines. A vacation mode varies the lighting pattern automatically so the home does not appear unoccupied.
